For over twenty years, RHG Architecture + Design has been committed to creating spaces that engage on every level — emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We believe in a holistic approach to architecture, interiors and product design, considering both the aesthetics of a space and how a person feels within it to encourage a sense of community and belonging. Our projects achieve a harmonious blend of form and purpose, creating environments that elevate everyday life and celebrate extraordinary moments.

From serene retreats to lively community spaces, our work reflects a quiet confidence and a deep respect for our clients’ visions. At RHG Architecture + Design, we are passionate about the transformative power of design and its ability to enrich daily life. Our Founder

RACHAEL H. GROCHOWSKI is a visionary architect, designer and thought-leader with thirty years of experience, recognized for her philosophy that Design is Spiritual™. Rachael’s work focuses on creating environments that foster wellbeing, balance and community, transcending aesthetics to cultivate calm, interconnectedness, and a profound sense of belonging. 

As the founder of RHG Architecture + Design, Rachael leads a team dedicated to creating respectful, inclusive spaces through thoughtful craftsmanship and sustainable practices, all rooted in her experience with various wisdom traditions. Her diverse portfolio spans residential, commercial, hospitality, wellness and spiritual projects, all of which reflect her commitment to intentional design and an approach informed by her experiences as a world traveler, yoga practitioner, and student of history and nature. 

In addition to her design practice, Rachael is an active public speaker, a Global Wellness Institute Ambassador and serves on the GWI Architecture + Design committee, advocating for the integration of wellness into design. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, Interior Design, and Interiors, to name a few. Prior to founding her firm in 2004, she honed her skills at prestigious design studios Tihany Design and S. Russell Groves in New York, designing luxury hotels, restaurants and wellness-focused spaces. She founded RHG in 2004 to further her connection to community through the built environment. 

Rachael holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural History from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her belief that architecture should enrich lives and foster connections is central to her work.
