Position Overview
We are seeking an intermediate Interior Designer with experience in residential, hospitality, commercial, and workplace projects for our Denver Office. Interior Designer with 4-6 years of professional experience and excellent design skills are needed to join our studio. This position will focus on all project states from initial development to completion and assist in the design and documentation of interior spaces, furniture, and fixture selection, presentation, coordinate purchasing, delivery, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and furnishings.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the interior design team to develop design solutions.
Research concepts and materials to support the design team on technical issues influencing concept development
Field survey for new projects
Prepare full scope interior design, construction and fabrication sets.
Working with timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion.
Conduct site visits and provide feedback and recommendations on observations.
Prepare and participate in client presentations.
Select furniture, materials, décor, and finishes within budget parameters.
Project manage interior projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
Knowledge of interior design, ADA and building codes
4-6 years of professional interior design experience.
In-depth knowledge of residential, hospitality, and commercial furniture vendors and finishes.
Demonstrated understanding of space planning
Able to develop and present design concepts.
AutoCAD proficiency, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
Microsoft Office
Ideal Candidate Qualities
NCIDQ accreditation preferred
Comfortable working independently while demonstrating professionalism with clients and consultants
Self-motivated, energetic, and highly organized
Strong graphic and communication skills
